Common Questions About RUHS MO Syllabus & Trends

Every question from the 9 official Rajasthan Medical Officer examination papers conducted between 2013 and 2024 (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2024) was individually solved, verified, and mapped to its primary MBBS subject and clinical topic. A total of 920 questions across 16 subjects were analyzed.
Historically, RUHS Medical Officer exams have NOT had negative marking (1 mark awarded per correct answer, 0 for unattempted/incorrect). However, candidates are advised to verify the instructions in the official 2026 notification brochure once released.
Community Medicine (PSM) and Forensic Medicine (FMT) offer the highest score return for study hours. In PSM, 16 recurring topics (Contraception, Vital Stats, BMW, Screening tests) alone yield 115 questions. In FMT, just 5 topics (Legal Procedures, Asphyxia, Toxicology) yield 35 questions with high predictability.
